My name is Kimberley Hicks and I am starting my 23rd year in education.  Up until ten years ago, I taught 9-12 Special Education here at Marbury.  I am very exciting about being in the new school, as well as being the school counselor.   I grew up in DeFuniak Springs, Florida and left there in 1992 to attend Troy State University, Troy, AL., where I met my husband.    I have been happily married to David Hicks from Millbrook,  a videographer/editor, educator, and pastor for 23 years.  We have two children, Sloan (20) and Logan (19), who are both living in Auburn, AL and  attending college at Southern Union State Community College..  We attend Harvest Fields Community Church in Deatsville, AL where my husband serves as co-pastor.  I have lived in the Marbury community for over 20 years and really enjoy the close family feel.  In my spare time, I enjoy vacations with my family, reading, and movie nights with my family.
