The Marbury High School 2011-2012 Varsity Coed Cheer Squad competed at the National High School Cheerleading Championships and the 1st Annual World Cheerleading Championship at the Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, February 11 and 12, 2012.

Marbury competed in the Small Varisty Coed Divison II category. The squad had an awesome performance and ranked 5th out of 25 in the semi-finals. The final round consisted of the top 13 teams from the semis. Marbury's performance was not as strong as the semis performance but still a very good performance. Marbury finished in 9th place in the National High School Cheerleading Championship.

On Sunday, the squad competed in the 1st Annual World Cheerleading Championship in the Small Coed Team Cheer category. The squad had another good performance and ended up taking 2nd place in this division out of 9 teams. 

Marbury Varsity Coed Cheerleaders did an amazing job at the National High School Cheerleading Championship and the World Cheerleading Championship. We are so proud of the them!!!
