New Basketball Guidelines

Basketball Season Information

To all Marbury High School Basketball Fans

There have been new guidelines issued for attendance to basketball games. We are now required to keep attendance to less than 20% of our usual occupancy. This means we will only be selling 120 tickets for each home game at Marbury High School. Tickets are available at until noon on the day of the game. If all 120 tickets are not sold, the rest will be available at the gate. Once the 120 tickets are sold, no other tickets will be sold for the game.

The guidelines require all spectators to maintain at least 6 feet of distance between themselves and persons not in their household, and to keep their face coverings or masks on at all times while in the athletic venue.

Referees have been empowered to delay the start of an event or suspend competition whenever spectators are not complying with social distancing guidelines or proper wearing of face coverings or masks.

We all want to be able to complete the basketball season and allow our student athletes the opportunity to play and enjoy this opportunity. Please adhere to the guidelines so we can continue with our season.

We plan on livestreaming the game like we were able to do during football season. If you are not able to attend the game, I encourage you to watch the game through this live stream.
